About the client

WAY TAXI is a transport service brand operated by ER GREEN ENERGY s.r.o., based in Banská Bystrica. It handles passenger rides, goods transport, and bus reservations. Clients place orders through a web portal, drivers and their vehicles go through approval in the administration, and a per-kilometer price is defined for every municipality in the Slovak Republic.

The challenge

Before Modulario, WAY TAXI did not have a unified administration portal — driver and vehicle approvals, ride records, prices by location, and ad banners were handled in fragmented ways:

• Driver and vehicle approval — paper records of qualifications and documents, manual assignment of cars to drivers, no audit history
• Driver commissions per individual ride were calculated manually — errors and delayed payouts
• Pricelist by Slovak municipalities — there was no unified table of per-kilometer prices for hundreds of municipalities; operators relied on memory or improvised
• Order dashboards for passenger transport and goods, and bus reservations, were each in a different tool — no unified export for accounting
• Web ad banners were changed manually through a developer
• Driver availability planning by location — the operator had no idea how many drivers were in a given location

The solution

Modulario delivered an administration portal built on 15 data structures covering all three transport segments (passenger cars, goods transport, buses):

Driver and vehicle management

• Drivers — adding, editing, deactivating, approving new drivers in the admin section
• Driver ride history with commissions per specific ride
• Cars assigned to a driver — list view, assigning and removing a vehicle
• Vehicles — adding, editing, deactivating, vehicle approval before joining the fleet

Orders and reservations

• Order overview for passenger cars and goods transport — table view with filtering and export, order detail, download of receipt/invoice for the given order
• Bus reservation overview — a separate agenda with table view and reservation detail
• Bus price quotations and bus inquiries — generation of quotes for clients
• Ride complaints — records and resolution of complaints linked to a specific ride

Pricing and planning

• Location price management — table view of all Slovak municipalities with the option to edit the per-kilometer amount for each one
• Workload planning by location and driver
• Driver availability calendar — the calendar shows the current number of available drivers in each location

• Ad management — banner system with two ad banners, each with three ads (text + image)
• Invoicing — Fleet invoicing, Driver invoicing, Bus invoicing
• User role definition with access rights and restrictions configuration
• Hosting on shared AMCEF AWS infrastructure
