ŠK Servis is a service company providing comprehensive occupational health and safety (OHS), fire protection (PO), and regular inspection services. It works for corporate clients of all sizes — from small operations to manufacturing plants — and manages hundreds of regular inspections, training sessions, and audits per year.

The challenge

ŠK Servis, providing OHS and fire-protection services, worked with an information system built on the MS DOS platform. The system:

• Did not allow integration with modern tools or mobile access
• Had limited options for extension and automation
• Required replacement with a modern solution — but a direct 1:1 port was estimated at €28,000

The solution

Instead of a simple port of the legacy system, we performed a deep process analysis that revealed a path to significant simplification:
