About the client

ARTOS CZ, spol. s r.o. is a Czech engineering company headquartered in Bouzov-Jeřmaň, operating in make-to-order engineering production and field-service dispatch. It runs machine production, component dispatch, and service field operations — all subject to local Czech regulatory specifics (CZK currency, VAT rates, language of documentation). The project to raise the company’s digital level was carried out under the Operational Programme Technologies and Applications for Competitiveness (OP TAK) as a higher-value contract with required technological and moral lifespan of the solution of at least 10 years.

The challenge

Before deploying Modulario, ARTOS CZ struggled with the typical pain points of make-to-order engineering production combined with field service:

• Production planning and field-service dispatch in different systems — without a link to dispatch and invoicing
• Quotation line items originated in the Helios accounting system and had to be rekeyed manually into the internal ERP
• Warehouse, serial numbers, and transfers without digital records across branches
• The commercial cycle (inquiry → quotation → order → dispatch order → invoice) was fragmented across tools

The solution

Modulario delivered an ERP with interconnected data structures that cover the entire cycle of make-to-order production and field services:

• Production and field-service dispatch — production planning, master cards, field-service line items, field-service activities, dispatch with work reports and activity types
• Commercial cycle — web inquiries, quotations (with payment terms, VAT rate, delivery method), confirmed orders, dispatch orders, issued invoices, delivery notes, credit notes, and proforma invoices
• Warehouse and logistics — items at locations, transfers, serial numbers, stock movements, reservations, multiple warehouses and branches with precise traceability
• Client and supplier directory — contact persons, bank accounts, payment terms linked to the commercial cycle
• Helios integration — quotation line items from Helios are transferred directly into the ERP with no manual rekeying, supporting Czech VAT rates and CZK currency
