About the client

AMCEF s.r.o. is the software company behind the Modulario platform. It delivers its own product development as well as custom projects for clients across multiple sectors and partner networks (including Asseco). The company combines dozens of parallel projects, a sales pipeline, hourly reporting, payroll, finance, and internal processes into one operational reality, where every working hour must be allocated to a project, billed, or counted toward internal overhead.

The challenge

Running a software company with dozens of colleagues and parallel projects requires extreme discipline and connected data. Before deploying its own platform, AMCEF faced the following challenges:

• A sales pipeline (leads, opportunities, quotations) disconnected from real capacity planning and invoicing
• Colleagues’ timesheets in spreadsheets, with no direct link to projects, expenses, or payroll
• Financial reports (cash flow, revenue, project margins) were produced manually outside the system
• Capacity planning for colleagues and projects, vacations, attendance, performance reviews, retrospectives, and sprints scattered across tools
• Modulario’s own meta-registry (data structures, attributes, transformations, events, dashboards) needed to be visible directly in the same system AMCEF uses for daily operations
