AI personalised onboarding: the first month without confusion
A generic onboarding checklist with 50 items, half of which don’t apply to the new hire. Three hours of day one filled with paperwork and access requests. By the end of the first week, the new colleague still doesn’t know who to ask about what.
An AI onboarding plan is different — it’s a specific plan for a specific person.
30 / 60 / 90 days — a structured foundation
First 30 days — orientation
Onboarding plan: Jana Nováková — Senior Data Scientist
Start date: 05.05.2026 | Manager: Tomáš Blaho
DAY 1–3:
✅ IT setup (laptop, access, email) — resp: IT
✅ HR paperwork and contract — resp: Jana Horváthová
✅ Meet: Tomáš Blaho, DS team (5 people), Peter Novák (Eng)
📚 Read: Company handbook, Tech stack overview
WEEK 1–2:
🎓 Mandatory training: Health & Safety (online, 45 min), GDPR (online, 30 min)
🎓 Product training: Modulario AI platform (2× 2h with senior)
📊 Study: existing ML models in production (documentation)
WEEK 3–4:
🎯 First independent task: churn data analysis for Q2 report
📅 1:1 with manager: every Friday 30 min
After 60 days
The employee has completed onboarding training, has first deliverables and knows the team. AI suggests next steps: advanced training, cross-team collaboration, first OKR.
After 90 days
Formal 90-day review — AI prepares a summary for the manager of onboarding plan completion, goals achieved, and suggests topics for the performance review.
Templates for every role
HR sets up templates once for key roles (sales rep, engineer, accountant, department head). AI personalises them for every new hire — saving time for both HR and managers.
