Rules are configurable: deadline < 3 days and task is 'in progress' with no update for >24h, task has been blocked for >2 days, project burn rate >120%, key employee is absent with no backup.

Who receives the escalation?

Escalation goes to the project PM. For strategic projects or when a defined threshold is exceeded (e.g., delay >5 days), AI also copies the Project Director or another manager according to settings.

Can I set a 'quiet window' so escalations don't arrive at night?

Yes — escalations are sent during business hours (default 8:00–17:00). For critical situations (project in crisis, production outage) you can enable 24/7 notifications for specific project types only.
