SAP Business One × Modulario
Native integration with SAP B1 via the Service Layer REST API. Modulario serves as a flexible front-end for CRM, field, and jobs while SAP B1 stays the system of record.

What the integration actually solves
Opportunities and quotes
Sales works in Modulario (mobile, with an AI assistant); once an opportunity is won, the quote becomes a Sales Order in SAP B1.
Inventory issues and receipts
The warehouse worker scans items in Modulario's mobile app; movements post immediately in SAP B1 including batch and serial number tracking.
Service jobs and field technician dispatch
The Maintenance module in Modulario manages SLAs and technician schedules. Material consumed on site is invoiced via the SAP B1 Service Contract.
Purchase approval workflow
Purchase orders are approved in Modulario in multiple stages (value, cost center). The approved PO is automatically created in SAP B1.
BI reporting on SAP data
Modulario dashboards read directly from HANA DB for live reporting — revenue, margins, cash-flow with no lag.
Connect in minutes
- 1 In SAP B1 enable the Service Layer (HANA or SQL) and create a technical user with B1_API permissions.
- 2 Open port 50000 (default) on the firewall for Service Layer and set up the HTTPS certificate.
- 3 In Modulario, go to Settings → Integrations → SAP B1 and enter the Service Layer URL, CompanyDB, user, and password.
- 4 Map BusinessPartner fields, Item master, warehouses, and document number ranges.
- 5 Configure the conflict strategy (which system wins on simultaneous edits).
- 6 Run a pilot with one sales team and real customers for 2 weeks before company-wide rollout.
Frequently asked questions
Do you support SAP B1 on HANA and on MS SQL?
Yes, the Service Layer API is identical for both editions. For HANA we can additionally use DI API for bulk operations.
Will the integration handle SK/CZ localization packages?
Yes, we work with both SK and CZ localization (invoice formats, VAT rates, eKasa for SK).
How do you handle HANA licensing for read access?
We recommend Indirect Access licensing or we use B1 Service Layer (included in the B1 license). The specific model is agreed with your SAP partner.
Is the deployment long?
A standard pilot takes 4-8 weeks depending on scope. For complex production rollouts plan 3-6 months including UAT and training.
