What’s new in Modulario 2025 to 2026

The past year was the most intensive in Modulario’s history. We progressively went through versions 2.0 to 2.6 and delivered dozens of new features, from AI extraction from documents, through Model Context Protocol, to a complete accessibility audit. This article summarizes the most important changes in one overview.

2.6.0 (April 2026), AI extraction + MCP + 54 new landing pages

Highlight release. The largest update of the year.

New features

  • AI extraction from documents, upload a PDF invoice, contract, or delivery note, AI pulls all fields (amount, tax ID, line items, due date) and inserts them into the record. Saves 80% of manual retyping.
  • MCP server + client (Model Context Protocol), Modulario as a tool for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and Copilot. External MCP servers can be used as actions in events.
  • Module x Industry landing pages, 54 new pages (CRM for manufacturing, Warehouse for e-shop…) with industry-specific use cases and integrations.
  • Brand & Media kit at /brand, logo variants (including white for dark bg), color palette, fonts, usage guidelines, and downloadable ZIP.
  • Subprocessors list at /subprocesory, GDPR Art. 28(2) transparency with 10 sub-processors and DPA links.

Improvements

  • WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, color contrast tokens reworked, 19 of 19 key pages pass the axe-core audit.
  • Rich SEO markup, Organization, SoftwareApplication, Product, FAQPage, and BreadcrumbList schemas on every page.
  • Auto-generated OG images (1200 x 630) for Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter sharing.
  • Progressive 2-step lead form with FINSTAT IČO auto-fill on /kontakt, shorter form, higher conversion.
  • PostHog analytics (EU hosting) with opt-in cookie banner and session replay with masked inputs.
  • Sentry error monitoring (EU region) with privacy defaults.

Fixes

  • Tab navigation in the hero section was hard to read, switched to darker ink-600 (WCAG AA).
  • Blog articles and prose content got default underline.
  • Testimonial slider click zones reworked to proper buttons (WCAG 4.1.2).

2.5.0 (February 2026), Performance and DX

  • Speed up of CRM module queries by 40% (newly indexed full-text fields).
  • Added TypeScript SDK for external integrations.
  • New visual builder for automations with undo/redo.
  • Full support for keyboard navigation in tables (vim-like bindings optional).

2.4.0 (December 2025), Design system v2

  • Reworked color palette and typography (Gabarito + Caveat).
  • Unified components: Button, Card, Chip, Modal, Toast.
  • Dark mode preview (beta).
  • Improved onboarding for new tenants.

2.3.0 (October 2025), Tailored modules

  • Marketplace launched, ready-made modules from Modulario and partners, one-click install.
  • Function Stack (JavaScript pre/post-processing) for every field.
  • Custom API endpoints definable in the UI.
  • Integration with iDoklad, Pohoda, Kros, Superfaktura, Money S3.

2.2.0 (August 2025), Enterprise security

  • ISO 27001 certificate formally awarded.
  • SSO via SAML 2.0 and OIDC (Azure AD, Okta, Google Workspace).
  • SCIM 2.0 for automatic user synchronization.
  • Audit log for every operation with 90-day retention.
  • Data export in CSV/JSON/SQL dump formats (GDPR Art. 20).

2.1.0 (June 2025), Reporting and BI

  • New dashboard builder with 20+ widget types.
  • Scheduled PDF reports with templates.
  • KPI cards with comparison against the previous period.
  • Heatmaps and Sankey diagrams for analytical use cases.

2.0.0 (April 2025), Modular architecture

  • Core rewritten to a modular architecture, every module is independently activatable.
  • 18 official modules (CRM, Invoices, Warehouse, Contracts, HR, Attendance, …).
  • Cloud as well as self-hosted deployment.
  • First version of the REST API for external systems.
